Draw lookup
Every draw conducted through randomdraws.co.nz™ is backed by a unique Certificate of Compliance, confirming that the draw was carried out using our third-party and government certified random draw system. This search tool allows you to verify a draw used our system by entering its certificate number and instantly accessing its official record.
The search results display the draw name, the organisation that conducted it, the date and time it was held, and the number of winners selected. It also confirms whether the winners were published on randomdraws.co.nz™ and if entrants were able to check if they were included in the draw. The results will not include winner names, prize names, or the number of entries.

Please note: randomdraws.co.nz™ certifies and verifies that all entries to a draw will be treated equally, and that no entry will receive an unfair advantage or unfair gain. However, the organising entity (e.g. promoter) is responsible for providing complete and accurate entries for use in our system. Prize fulfilment and winner communication also remain the responsibility of the organising entity. We provide promoters with the option to enable entry checking and winner publication for additional transparency.
Here's what this means in practice:
- Fair and equal treatment of entries – every entry uploaded into our system is treated equally, with no preference, bias, or weighting applied.
- Independent and unbiased randomisation – all entries have the same chance of being drawn.
- Secure and transparent process – once entries are uploaded, our system cannot be manipulated to to the benefit of any entrant. The randomisation outcome is final and impartial.
-
Responsibility for entry data – while we certify the integrity of the draw itself, the organising entity (e.g. promoter) is solely responsible for:
- Collecting entries correctly
- Ensuring entry details are accurate and complete
- Complying with relevant laws and licensing requirements (if applicable)
- No influence over promoter practices – we do not control how entries are collected or managed prior to being uploaded into our system.
-
Entrant confidence – by separating responsibilities, entrants can be confident that:
- The draw process itself is independent and impartial
- The promoter remains accountable for the accuracy and eligibility of entries submitted
randomdraws.co.nz™ is an independent service that is not affiliated with draws or their promoters.
If you have concerns about the legitimacy of a particular draw or its promoter, we suggest contacting the relevant government authority.
